## 0.34.9 — experimental PQC (source candidate)
- **Settings → TLS policy:** opt-in experimental TLS 1.3 hybrid post-quantum key exchange (X25519MLKEM768), using aws-lc-rs only for enabled frontend TLS policies. Classic key-exchange groups remain enabled for client compatibility. Off by default; cipher-suite choices remain separate. HTTP/3 and per-vhost TLS overrides follow the selected policy. Version **0.34.8** is provided as a **source release candidate**. Configuration, ACL and TLS changes require native compilation and integration testing on the target systems before a production deployment is declared. See [Installation](docs/INSTALL.md) and [Roadmap](ROADMAP.md).
Version **0.34.9** is provided as a **source-only experimental candidate**. PQC dependencies were provisionally locked using published crate metadata, not checked by Cargo in the packaging environment. Run `cargo metadata --locked`, `cargo check --locked --all-targets`, `cargo test --locked --all-targets` and protocol compatibility checks on your target system before production deployment.
