## 0.34.0
- DEV 1 KiB reverse-proxy throughput follow-up: identify HTTP/1.1 upstream
idle-pool capacity as a bottleneck using 4-vs-64 live tuning trials on the
*supplied, unmodified executable*. Change the new-vhost default from 4 to 64
(still bounded to 1..64), preserving explicit saved values and all recycle
settings. Keep resource/FD trade-offs documented.
- Avoid uncontended `Mutex::lock` operations in final `Exchange::drop` via
exclusive `get_mut`, move final owned log strings, and skip reserved-cookie
sanitization when the corresponding header is absent. Preserve analytics,
history, counters, all security checks and cookie handling when present.
- Add source guards, Rust regressions and a measured-configuration report in
`docs/PROXY_1KB_HOTPATH_DEV_0.34.0.md`. This **source** is not compiled;
newly introduced code performance and full protocol parity remain unverified.
No version increment and no claim of reaching 100k RPS / 80% nginx.
- Follow-up HOT cache path: clone response headers outside the shared store
mutex using immutable `Arc<HeaderMap>` metadata; preserve exact hit/LRU
accounting and per-response Age/transform flags. Fast-path direct no-Vary
