# RustProxy 0.34.9
# RustProxy 0.34.10
RustProxy combines a reverse proxy, static/PHP web server, certificate management and traffic monitoring in one service with a browser administration panel. It supports several domains and backends without requiring a separate proxy configuration language.

Features and default settings vary by component; configure only the capabilities you need. The [documentation index](docs/README.md) covers each workflow, including prerequisites, security boundaries, troubleshooting and API access.
## 0.34.10 — filesystem permissions and certificate names
- **Certificates → Existing files:** permission commands are generated from the entered external certificate/key paths and displayed **below both path fields**. The command block keeps the previous panel styling, with account selection and guidance under **Options and help**. Commands grant directory traversal and read access to the resolved files for the `rustproxy` service account. After the public certificate can be read, its DNS SAN names automatically fill the legacy SNI field; manual edits are preserved, and **Read names from certificate** retries after permissions are corrected. See [Certificates](docs/ACME_PROVIDERS.md).
- **Web Server:** the document-root field now has generated permission commands directly below it, updated as the path changes. The helper covers parent traversal and read/traversal of the served tree. Review and run the commands as an administrator on the server; the panel does not execute them. See [Web Server](docs/WEB_SERVER.md).
## 0.34.9 — experimental PQC (source candidate)
- **Settings → TLS policy:** opt-in experimental TLS 1.3 hybrid post-quantum key exchange (X25519MLKEM768), using aws-lc-rs only for enabled frontend TLS policies. Classic key-exchange groups remain enabled for client compatibility. Off by default; cipher-suite choices remain separate. HTTP/3 and per-vhost TLS overrides follow the selected policy. Details and rollback: [TLS PQC guide](docs/TLS_POST_QUANTUM.md) (also in the authenticated panel Reader).

## Status of this source archive
Version **0.34.9** is provided as a **source-only experimental candidate**. PQC dependencies were provisionally locked using published crate metadata, not checked by Cargo in the packaging environment. Run `cargo metadata --locked`, `cargo check --locked --all-targets`, `cargo test --locked --all-targets` and protocol compatibility checks on your target system before production deployment. See [Installation](docs/INSTALL.md) and [Roadmap](ROADMAP.md).
Version **0.34.10** is provided as a **source-only release candidate**. It retains the experimental PQC implementation introduced in 0.34.9, whose dependencies were provisionally locked using published crate metadata. Native build and protocol acceptance remain required. Run `cargo metadata --locked`, `cargo check --locked --all-targets`, `cargo test --locked --all-targets` and protocol compatibility checks on your target system before production deployment. See [Installation](docs/INSTALL.md) and [Roadmap](ROADMAP.md).
