# Integrations overview RustProxy offers built-in integrations and optional helper components. Each has its own permissions and network requirements; enabling an integration does not automatically configure its external service. | Integration | Purpose | Setup and limits | |---|---|---| | **Docker agent** | Discover running Docker services and publish generated Vhosts | Install separate agent on Docker host; use Bearer token and TLS certificate pin. [Guide](DOCKER_DISCOVERY.md). | | **Tinyauth** | Delegate authentication for selected Vhosts | Configure verifier URL/login URL, allowed headers and HTTPS. [Access](ACCESS.md). | | **ACME / Certbot** | Issue/renew HTTPS certificates | HTTP-01 or DNS-01 via Cloudflare, OVH or RFC2136; protect credentials. [Certificates](ACME_PROVIDERS.md). | | **Prometheus** | Scrape operational metrics | Separate endpoint/token/CIDR rules. [Monitoring](MONITORING.md). | | **Grafana** | Visualize Prometheus results | Example dashboard under `grafana/README.md`. | | **Nagios** | External service checks | Sample checks under `nagios/README.md`; configure authorized network/API access. | | **Nginx Proxy Manager** | Import existing NPM proxy hosts | Included Python dry-run migration, without importing all NPM settings or private certificates. [Migration](MIGRATION.md). | | **OPNsense certificate deploy** | Deploy certificates from OPNsense ACME plugin | Review `integrations/opnsense-acme/README.md` and use scoped certificate credentials. | | **RouterOS OCI packaging** | Build an image suited to RouterOS-container environments | Separate experimental packaging under `integrations/routeros-oci-build/README.md`; test the host architecture/network constraints. | ## Rules of thumb Use API credentials with the smallest allowed action/scope and terminate TLS on sensitive network links. The Docker socket must remain confined to the Docker agent host, not the main proxy. Certificate deploy/reload tokens are **not** general administrator API tokens. For imported NPM services, revisit backend TLS verification, frontend certificate assignment, access rules and special Nginx directives manually. External compatibility depends on the versions and settings of those external products; this source archive cannot establish acceptance against a live provider or CA.
