Operational scripts

All operator-facing scripts live in this directory.

• install.sh — first installation on a Debian/Ubuntu systemd host or LXC container.
• update.sh — safe in-place update with SQLite/config/binary backup and automatic rollback on failed health check.
• service.sh — start, stop, restart, status, logs and health helper.
• dev.sh — development build/run/check workflow.
• smoke.sh — HTTP/API smoke test used by dev.sh --check.
• live_realtime_test.js — Node-based regression test for WebSocket live-state updates, control-plan push/fallback and reconnect behavior.
• generate_ha_migration.py — legacy/manual Home Assistant entity mapping helper.
• install-lxc.sh — compatibility alias for install.sh.
• common.sh — shared shell functions; normally not executed directly.

build.rs remains in the package root because Cargo requires the build script at that location; it is not an operator script.

• configure-gree-network.sh <interface> — configures a dedicated GREE NIC, automatic subnet broadcast, disables the simulator, and restarts the service.
• network-debug.sh <interface> [broadcast-ip] — prints interface/routing diagnostics and a tcpdump command.

The running controller uses only the committed web/styles.css embedded into the Rust binary. There is no frontend dependency installation, CDN, or CSS build step.

• verify_simple_heating.py — static validation for the three simple-heating Flow imports, language files and release versions.
• test_simple_heating_ui.js — checks automatic Flow vs manual thermostat statuses.
• test_flow_block_help_ui.js — checks the localized two-block descriptions, dynamically calculated day/night heating examples and the Flow inspector help panel.
